Opinions Disclaimer

This E-Learning Journey represents the experiences, feelings, emotional motivations and opinions of Carolyn Cleveland, Founder of C&C Empathy Training Ltd and the Participation Colleagues (namely: Matt, Liz and Masooma) who are featured throughout this journey of awareness. All the experiences, feelings, emotional motivations, and opinions shared are honest and authentic to those expressing them at the time of filming this E-Learning Journey content. Many of these expressions stated are also in the moment, and with no script, but as they would occur in everyday conversation, or a live training session.  They do not necessarily represent any other specific person's opinion or are assumed to be more relevant or static. They are featured as examples of ways of understanding some of the content, understanding possible feelings, and recognising possible emotional components, reactions and outcomes that can exist. 

1. Definitions and Interpretations

1.1 Gender: Any gender specific terms are stated as simply how the person expressing (Carolyn Cleveland, or one of the Participation Colleagues)  is perceiving information, and communicating in that specific moment, at the time of filming. It is not assumed that their perception, identification, or interpretation is factually correct, or more relevant  than any other person experiencing this E-Learning Journey or will not change.  Discussions are provided to create the opportunity to support people partaking in this E-Learning Journey to recognise personal ideas, opinions, understand personal biases in themselves and others and recognise the need for awareness and challenge where relevant. Those filmed in this training reserve the right to alter their opinion, with their opinions expressed being an exploration of ideas at the time of filming.

1.2 Identification: Carolyn Cleveland and the Participation Colleagues, at the time of filming the content for this E-Learning Journey, and for the purposes of clarification, identify as:

1.3 Language: Many of the expressions stated in this E-Learning Journey, particularly the Participation Colleagues videos, are filmed in an honest and authentic way, to recreate training, interactions and communication that might occur in every day conversation, or a live training session. Therefore, no person involved is working from a point of being pre-prepared, or scripted and are responding in the moment, from an emotional, cognitive, analytical  and reactive perspective. This is to create E-Learning discussions that are fully reflective of real life. recognise the discrepancies, biases and challenges of being human. Minimal editing has therefore been exercised to not suppress freedom of speech to represent possible truthful emotions and responses as they were felt and experienced by the person communicating , in that moment. They are not intended to cause offence, or to be specifically agreed or disagreed with. 

 

1.3 Terminology: "We/Us/Our": within this Disclaimer means C&C Empathy Training Ltd, a Limited company incorporated in the United Kingdom, with Company registration Number 9283697

 

2. Duty of Care and limitations

Whilst this E-Learning Journey focusses on raising awareness of empathy for others, particularly in vulnerable or bereaved states,  part of this is to feel personal emotions, to understand more deeply, to aid thought provoking processes. C&C Empathy Training have taken all efforts to provide support for those embarking on this E-Learning Journey with information on well-being provided. C&C Empathy Training Ltd, do not take responsibility for any person's mental, or physical health and well-being before, during, or after doing this E-Leaning Journey. Any person partaking in this E-learning Journey, retains responsibility for their own psychological, or physical well-being, and is strongly advised to seek further professional support from an appropriate professional should they feel that they require it. 

3. Further Disclaimers

3.1 We make no warranty or representation that the Website will meet your requirements, that it will be of satisfactory quality, that it will be fit for a particular purpose, that it will not infringe the rights of third parties, that it will be compatible with all systems, that it will be secure, and that all information provided will be accurate. We make no guarantee of any specific results from the use of our Service or Services.

3.2 No part of this Website is intended to constitute advice and the Content of this Website should not be relied upon when making any decisions or taking any action of any kind.
